A Cisco Certification is one of the most valuable in the world of information technology (IT).  We are thrilled to congratulate our Senior Network Engineer and Project Manager, Caleb Ruseskas, who recently became a “Cisco Certified Network Professional” after 5 years of working through the Cisco Certification program.  A CCNP certification is one of the highest-level certifications that an IT professional can receive and it is certainly not an easy achievement.   There are very few companies in Eastern Pennsylvania that have a CCNP working for their companies, making them a very valuable asset to any IT team!

A professional that has their CCNP certification, such as Caleb, is trained to troubleshoot, install and maintain wide area networks (WAN) and local area networks (LAN) for systems between 100 and 500 nodes.  Through this certification, expertise is gained in other areas of network features and protocols.  A series of exams are done throughout the certification process to measure the professional’s ability to troubleshoot, test and maintain network functions and resolution techniques.

Caleb started this journey 5 years ago when he began working his way up the Cisco Certification ranks through a series of tests and countless hours spent studying and finding resources to obtain all the information needed to become a CCNP.  During this time, he achieved becoming a “Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician”, which was comprised of a single test and eventually became a “Cisco Certified Network Associate”, which was also a single test certification, he then completed a second CCNA in Security.  After this, the process of working through three certification tests to become a “Cisco Certified Network Professional” began.  In October 2019 Caleb achieved his long-time goal of becoming a CCNP.  He is now helping to mentor our current CCENT, Steve while he works through his Cisco certifications.

Congratulations Caleb!  We are so proud of you and your hard work and cannot wait to cheer you on to your next goal!!!
