According to the company, the Windows 11 “Teams Experience” and the Chat option are specially designed for holders of personal Microsoft accounts. This means that the experience will only be accessible by individuals who use personal Microsoft accounts.

Microsoft Teams on Windows 11 has two different applications that are designed for different purposes: work and personal use. If a Microsoft user tries to log into Chat with an account designed for work/school, they will be prompted to download the Teams for work/school account. Note, the Teams app for work/school uses an icon with a blue tile with a white letter “T” inside.
