How did you get into the IT industry?

I've been fixing things and working with computers since I was young, and I started a small computer repair and development business in high school. After college in 2012, I joined the management team for a chain of phone and computer repair shops. From there I moved into wireless telecom for a few years, then spent time in the IT education industry before finally joining my first proper MSP, tech42, in 2024. That path gave me a rare mix of technical, sales, and training experience that I bring to every client relationship today.

What skill do you bring to tech42 that makes the biggest impact?

I'm a problem solver at heart, with broad experience across a lot of different client facing roles. That mix lets me translate technical challenges into clear opportunities and solutions for our clients, so they always understand not just what we're doing, but why it matters to their business.

What do you believe are tech42's core values?

Integrity and an uncompromising commitment to quality of service. Clients trust us because we do what we say we'll do, and we hold our own work to a higher standard than anyone else would ask of us.

What's one of your favorite projects you've worked on at tech42?

A few stand out. We built a Microsoft Teams Room for a major nonprofit client, giving their team a seamless, professional space for hybrid meetings and donor calls. I also led an operatory workstation and infrastructure refresh for a dental practice client, modernizing their patient care technology and keeping HIPAA compliance airtight. Recently, I built a custom MCP server for a law firm client that connects their case management system directly to AI tools, saving their staff hours of manual lookup every week.

What do you enjoy most about working at tech42?

New problems to solve every day, and working with some of the best clients around. No two days look the same, and that keeps me sharp and invested in every account I manage.

What are some things you enjoy outside of work?

Writing music, 3D printing, and spending time playing board games with my wife, and three boys.
