Client Support Coordinator
Why did you decide to get into the IT industry and how did you get here?
“After high school I worked at MetLife Insurance resetting, creating and distributing passwords. I received my Associates Degree in Computer Programming at SUNY Sullivan and began working in the tech field doing jobs that highly involved client support. When I started at tech42 I fully embraced working one on one with clients and I absolutely love how my job has played out.”
Which of your skills benefits the success of tech42 most?
“I have very good customer service skills, which is the most important part of my job. I am the first person that a client will talk to when they call in with an issue or in need of help and having the skills to work well with them on their initial call really helps the whole team. It also helps that I do have a background in this industry because I have a better understanding of what clients are calling about. The other skill that benefits tech42 is that I am a big team player, I love that my job involves the team working together as a whole to solve client’s issues.”
In your opinion, what are the core values of tech42?
“Teamwork and customer satisfaction! We have such a great team at tech42 and they all have different qualities and knowledge that they bring to the table, which makes the teamwork even more powerful. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to all our clients. We want them to be able to trust their technology in our hands and feel comfortable turning to us for whatever they need.”
Tell us about one of your favorite projects with tech42?
“I’ve really been enjoying learning ConnectWise, the software that we use here for managing basically everything! It holds customer information, project information and planning, billing, basically anything and everything that you would need to run the office. It’s fun for me because I am constantly learning new things about it and improving how we use it daily. Eventually, I will take over training our team members with ConnectWise and I’m really excited for that opportunity.”
In a few words, what do you like most about working at tech42?
“Joanne makes the best coffee, which means a lot more than just a really good cup of coffee. We are like one big family here and we are so well taken care of by not only Mike and Joanne, but each other as well. I enjoy coming to work because I love everyone that I get to spend my weekdays with!”
What are some things you like to do when you aren’t working?
“I love spending time with my three boys, my kids are my number on priority and my best friends. When I’m not with my boys I enjoy gardening, experimenting with photography, reading and catching the occasional concert. I love music and incorporate it into a lot that I do.”
